CACAO PICO
The star product of the distillery has always been the liquor Cacao Pico, made from a completely handmade from cocoa beans of Venezuela and Ecuador quality premium and especially aromatic.
Cacao Pico is ideal for taking icy, cold with ice, in cocktails or as a basic ingredient in confectionery. Prestigious confectioners used as a differentiating ingredient Cacao Pico and give a unique personality to their cakes, truffles, mousse or desserts in general.
Also many cocktails made with Cacao Pico have been awarded in history throughout in different competitions of cocktail, from the award known as "Alexandre" with brandy or with gin and Cacao Pico, to cocktail "to liquindoi" winner of the bicentenary of "La Pepa" Cadiz 2012.
Cacao Pico also has received awards in national and international fairs, such as "Le Salon Saveur" in Paris, being named 2 consecutive years the best liquor of the fair.
Currently, in an increasingly artificial world, Distilleries Pico continues to struggle to maintain completely natural products. Is processed similarly since two centuries ago, but knowing exploit the advances offered by modern technology.
From cocoa to the finished product, the manufacturing process involves a particularly meticulous rigor, where craft work, the cooper alembics and tranquility in the process, result these liqueurs of exquisite quality.
Our distillation process is always singular. With the copper alembics, we can extract the purest essence of fruit. It is distilled slowly, no hurry and carefully, separating the "heads" (initial part of the alcoholate) of the 'tails' (final part of alcoholate) and the central part or "heart". This is the most homogeneous part, which will be used in the subsequent manufacturing process.
